Litterly Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 23, 2026
This policy explains what information Litterly collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us at info@litterly.co.
Litterly ("Litterly," "we," "us") is operated by Goodcare Brands. Litterly is software that helps dog breeders run their program — tracking litters, puppies, parents, buyers, and the day-to-day of raising a litter.
Who this policy covers
Two kinds of people have information in Litterly, and it helps to keep them separate:
Breeders — the people who sign up for and use Litterly to run their business. If that's you, this policy describes how we handle your account and the data you put in.
Buyers and other contacts — the puppy buyers, waitlist applicants, and contacts whose details a breeder enters into Litterly. If a breeder added your information, the breeder decides what goes in and how it's used; Litterly stores it on the breeder's behalf. For questions about that data, contact the breeder directly. We handle it according to this policy and only to provide the service to that breeder.
What we collect
Account information. When you create a breeder account, we collect your email address and the kennel details you choose to enter — kennel name, owner name, location, phone, and similar.
Your program data. Everything you enter to run your breeding program: dogs and their records, litters, puppies, weights, health and development logs, notes, photos and documents you upload, and the buyer/waitlist records you create. This includes any personal details you enter about your buyers, such as their names and contact information.
Payment information (when paid plans launch). If and when you pay for Litterly, payment is handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We don't store your full card number; the processor does.
Basic technical information. Standard information your browser sends when you use a website, used to keep the service working and secure.
We do not run advertising, and we do not sell your information.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and operate Litterly: to show you your data, keep it saved and synced across your devices, secure your account, respond to support requests, and improve the product. That's the whole list. We don't use your breeding records or your buyers' details for anything other than running the service for you.
Where your data is stored and who can see it
Your data is stored in a database hosted by Supabase, on servers in the United States. Each breeder's data is isolated so that one breeder cannot see another breeder's data. Data is encrypted while traveling between your device and our servers.
The companies that help us run Litterly ("service providers") can technically access data only as needed to provide their piece of the service — for example, Supabase (database and login), Vercel (website hosting), and Stripe (payments, once live). They are not permitted to use your data for their own purposes.
We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety, rights, or property of our users or the public.
Your choices and rights
You can view and edit your data any time inside the app. You can export a complete copy of your data from Settings ("Download backup") whenever you want. If you'd like your account and its data deleted, email us at info@litterly.co and we'll take care of it.
If you are a buyer or contact and want to know what a breeder has stored about you, or want it changed or removed, contact that breeder — they control that information. We'll assist the breeder in honoring your request.
Data retention
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your data from the live system; residual copies may remain in routine backups for a limited period before they age out.
Security
We protect your data with per-account isolation, encryption in transit, and sensible access controls. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we ask you to keep your password private.
Children
Litterly is a business tool for breeders and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make a meaningful change to this policy, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, let you know in the app or by email. Continuing to use Litterly after a change means you accept the updated policy.
